What Have These Guys Been Doing?

So what the *!@#?!!’s been happening? Well. Lots of wrangling over the final plans for submittal to the building department and contractors. A little bit of mop-up on demolition. Also, these showed up:

Ain’t they lovely? We thought, given the long lead time for their manufacture, we’d maybe have the brewhouse floor in a condition where we could set them in place, but that didn’t happen. When we place them in their final position, they’ll be stacked one on top of the other.

These are lagering tanks, for slow, gradual conditioning (ie clarifying, carbonating) of lager beers. These beauties were fabricated by Quality Tank Solutions in Wisconsin, who are greatly esteemed for making, well, quality tanks. Can’t wait to put them in service!
