Up, Up, and Away!

Soon, soon… today we brewed Montgolfier, a “table saison,” meaning lower alcohol than the typical 6-or-7-or-so ABV. This one should come in at a tick below 4%. Like big brother Atmospherium, it will have spicy and fruity yeast-derived flavors, as well as lively carbonation. Look for it in a few weeks when the Atmo runs out (for the time being.)

The two fellers in the rigging in the picture above (look close!) are Joe and Jack, named for Joseph-Michel and Jacques-Etienne Montgolfier, pioneers of hot-air ballooning. Our Montgolfier aims to be light and uplifting, in the spirit of these two daredevils.

Other beers to watch for in the coming weeks: a Vienna lager, a Black IPA, and a new iteration of Michigan Weather which will be a session IPA.
