With A Little Help From Our Friends

Our friends and neighbors in Eastern Market and beyond have been generous and supportive since we started this project, but none more so than Jamie and Curt around the corner at Lagerhaus No5. From loaning their forklift to help with our demolition early on to providing moral support, advice, and a shoulder to cry on, they’ve helped us tremendously.
In that vein, we’ve hatched a plan to collaborate on a beer dinner- Chef Mario is going to take over their kitchen for a day, and Jamie and I are working up a lineup of beers to go with Mario’s menu. We’ve brewed one small batch especially for the event, a strong golden blonde Belgianish ale, and might squeeze in another exclusive or two.
We’ve set the date for Tuesday, August 29, other details will be available soon. We may have some additional co-conspirators from the neighborhood. Stay tuned…
