What’s Up In The Brewery?

Well, we’re working to keep up with the faster-moving beers, to wit, Pils, Porter, IPA, and Uncle Dave’s. In between, we’ve got the next version of Michigan Weather; this time the forecast is for a Brown Ale, 5.0%, 35 BUs, clear dark reddish brown, with a bit of toasty and roasty malt flavor. Also in the fermenter is a Dortmunder lager, pale golden in color, slightly less bitter than a Pils, slightly more so than a Helles, and a bit stronger than both; it should come in at 6% and 30 BU.

In more immediate beer news, we’re tapping a cask of COM1 IPA today, one of two from the latest batch. It should be a very different sensory experience from the standard dispense; check it out!
